According to Cinderella, “A dream is a wish your heart makes when you’re fast asleep,” and we are so freaking happy to report dreams do come true: The Disney princess movies are coming back to theaters!

The AMC Theater chain announced yesterday that, beginning September 8, a different Disney princess film will be screened at 304 AMC theaters across the nation each week for Two. Months. Straight. Eee!

Each film will have 14 showtimes during a one-week period, until October 13. AMC is calling the royal extravaganza the “Dream Big, Princess” marathon and featuring some of the most poignant Disney princess films.

Here are the six tremendous films (and when they'll be screened) included in the "Dream Big, Princess" spectacular. 



‘Beauty and the Beast’ (1991)

This animated tale as old as time is coming to theaters on September 15.

Mulan AMC theaters disney princess

‘Mulan’ (1998)

Mushu and Mulan reunite on September 22.


‘Tangled’ (2010)

Hair envy recommences on September 29.

‘Moana’ (2016)

Channel island vibes with Moana at the El Capitan on September 29. (Rats, this one is playing only at El Capitan. Damn you, L.A.)


‘The Princess and the Frog’ (2009)

They say you have to kiss some frogs before you find your prince. Watch Tiana find hers starting on October 6 at AMC Theaters.

Feel all the girl power with Merida on October 13.
