*Warning: Spoilers ahead*
You guys, This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman is dropping major hints about upcoming episodes, and (phew!) it’s actually good news…for once.
In a recent interview, Fogelman discussed the three remaining episodes in season two and revealed that they are much less depressing than the previous ones. He said, “We feel like fans almost deserve a break, because it’s been really heavy.”
What can we expect to see, you may ask? Well, all signs point to a nuptial celebration for Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan): “We’re building towards a wedding, presumably.”
To top it off, he also confirmed there will be no Jack shortage anytime soon. He continued, “In many ways, Jack might be the character we still have the most to learn about, because he’s kept so many secrets in this period before we’ve really known him.”
As for the season two finale, let’s just say Fogelman has big plans: “Ultimately, we’re culminating at a big, moving family event, which would presumably be Kate’s wedding.”
Presumably? Sounds suspicious, but we’ll take anything we can get. This Is Us returns to NBC on Tuesday, February 27, at 9 p.m.
