Chrissy Teigen Hilariously Reminisces About Her ‘Deal or No Deal’ Days with Meghan Markle

Just because Chrissy Teigen is married to John Legend doesn’t mean she’s not bitter about the fact that she could have married into royalty.

During yesterday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Teigen talked about working on Deal or No Deal back in 2006 and revealed that she opened briefcases alongside fellow model and soon-to-be royal Meghan Markle. So, naturally, the 32-year-old went on to express her frustrations over missing out on the opportunity to become the next Kate Middleton (because, duh).

She said, “That could be me. I could be Princess Harry, or no, what is it? That’s not how that works.”

Last month, Teigen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and admitted that her time on the show with Markle was, um, limited. She explained, “I think she came in the second season or something. I did it from pilot season to first season, and then I got demoted because I couldn’t walk down the stairs. I got fired or something.” 

Nevertheless, she has nothing but good memories of the bride-to-be. She added, “I remember her being just very quiet and sweet. Just really kind, and I don’t say that about anybody.”
