It appears Chrissy Metz and Ariana Grande go way back. Like, way, way back.
The This Is Us star recently stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss her new memoir, This Is Me: Loving the Person You Are Today. In the book, Metz recalls her pre-This Is Us days, including when she took a job as a talent agent after moving to Los Angeles.
When Fallon pressed her on the side hustle, the actress casually revealed that she used to represent none other than Ariana Grande. She said, “I ended up working in the youth department and ended up becoming an agent myself. I represented Ariana Grande.” Wait, what?
Metz went on to reveal that she worked with the singer-cum-actress (along with Disney starlet Dove Cameron) long before Grande got her big break in Nickelodeon’s Victorious.
“I was on the team that represented both of those incredible ladies,” Metz added. “It’s so fun. You know they’re going to be stars when you meet them for the first time.”
This isn’t the first time the This Is Us star shocked us with her behind-the-scenes work. In February, the 37-year-old blew our minds when she revealed that she used to represent Hannah Zeile, the actress who plays teenage Kate on the NBC series.
Welp, is there anything she can’t do?
