Throw three monumentally successful and beautiful Oscar-winning actresses on a group text and what do you get (other than our heads exploding from massive FOMO)? The Brie Larson, Emma Stone—hold please, hyperventilating—J Law Girl Squad.

In an interview for Vanity Fair’s May cover story, Brie Larson said her close friendship, and subsequent text chain, with Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence has gotten her through tough times.

The 27-year-old multi-hyphenate gave truth to the idiom "It's lonely at the top," and shared that she felt isolated during her press tour for Room. (Earmuffs, sweet Jacob Tremblay.)

But wait...there’s more. How did this A-list ménage à trois come to be, you ask? Yes, we initially thought there had to be some sort of beautiful, young and talented actress convention at the Scientology Celebrity Centre, too.

Two words: Woody Harrelson.

Harrelson empathized with friend and The Glass Castle costar Larson and felt compelled to connect her with several other friendly female forces to be reckoned with.

Stone reached out to Larson via email, Lawrence sent her now costar a text and BOOM. The most magnificent lady trifecta was born. The bond blossomed to its zenith when the Hollywood trinity started a text chain that also included—wait for it—Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer.

“That [group of friends] saved my life,” Larson said. “I was able to talk with them about everything that was going on in my life, and it was with people who had been through it before and are also hilarious. That support and acceptance was everything."

And there’s officially no need for a Spice Girls reunion.
