Beyoncé Posts Rare Shot with Her Kids as She Celebrates the Release of Her New Album ‘Renaissance’

But, the “Halo” singer didn't only thank her children. She also made a shout-out to her husband, Jay-Z, writing, “And a special thanks to my beautiful husband and muse, who held me down during those late nights in the studio.”

Along with the pic of her kids, Beyoncé included a vintage snap of what is presumed to be her Uncle Jonny (seen above to the right), who the singer says inspired her latest project. “A big thank you to my Uncle Jonny,” she wrote. “He was my godmother and the first person to expose me to a lot of the music and culture that serve as inspiration for this album.”

She added, “Thank you to all of the pioneers who originate culture, to all of the fallen angels whose contributions have gone unrecognized for far too long. This is a celebration for you.”

The singer also marked the release of her album with a short clip she shared to Instagram, which was simply captioned, “RENAISSANCE…”
