Although we barely got a glimpse of the Queen during last night’s Grammy Awards, our hearts stopped for the two-second cutaway of the Carters. Donning a wide-brim black hat and foot-long diamond earrings, Beyoncè’s look was—dare we say?—flawless. But we were blessed again when Bey’s makeup artist, Sir John, posted a shot to Instagram of the products he used on Beyoncé.
So, naturally, we’d assume Queen Bey’s go-to makeup would cost more than our paycheck, but that’s where we’re wrong. Besides 24K gold sheet masks (we’d expect nothing less) and some fancy makeup brushes, everything is under $40 (!!). Sir John’s roundup included cult favorites Glossier Cloud Paint ($18), Boy Brow ($16), Balm Dotcom ($12) and Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream ($22), L’Oréal Lumi Glotion ($15), Lumi Glow Amour Glow Boosting Drops ($15) and True Match Lumi Shimmerista Highlighting Powder ($15), plus Peter Thomas Roth 25K Gold Firm Patches ($75).
There’s also the YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain ($36), Rouge Pur Couture Lip Color ($37) and Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils ($32). From Nars, Sir John used The Intensifier brush ($85) and The Small Brightener brush ($55).
