If you’re still swooning over Timothée Chalamet’s heart-wrenching performance in Call Me By Your Name, we’ve got good news for you. He stars in another tearjerker of a film beginning October 12, and Hollywood is already calling it: Tim’s gonna win an Oscar, no doubt.

It’s called Beautiful Boy and it’s based on dual memoirs written by father David Sheff (played by Steve Carell) and his son Nic (Chalamet) that chronicle Nic’s battle with methamphetamine addiction and his dad’s perspective as he watches helplessly as his son spirals out of control.

Like we said, tissues required. The trailer alone left us a weepy mess. We’re also thrilled to see Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan rounding out the cast.

But back to Chalamet: The guy’s a true talent. Anyone else kind of obsessed?
