2020 may have been terrible (and then some) for literally everybody. But Ariana Grande is proving that it's not too late for some well-deserved good news.
The "Thank U, Next" singer just announced her engagement to boyfriend Dalton Gomez on Instagram. The post not only features pictures of the couple, but it also shows off her ring—and OMG is that a pearl and a diamond?!
In the slideshow, we see intimate pictures of the 27-year-old getting up close and personal with Gomez. These are interspersed with shots of the sparkler, which includes a massive oval-shaped diamond and a beautiful pearl. Lucky you, Ariana.
She captioned the post, "forever n then some."
Grande and Gomez were rumored to be dating for the past nine months, though the timeline is a little iffy. However, according to ET Online, they made it Instagram official back in June with pics of themselves cuddling.
So who is Dalton Gomez? He is apparently a luxury real estate agent who works with top tier names to find them new homes. (In case you forgot, Grande was previously engaged to actor Pete Davidson—it's nice to see Grande branching out from her typical fellow artist type.)
Fans were quick to congratulate the couple in the Instagram post comments, sending lots of love (and wide-eye emojis regarding that ring).
