We're already getting a biography on the late Anthony Bourdain sometime in 2019. Now, a film is slated to join it.
According to reports from Vanity Fair, a documentary about Bourdain's life and work is already in pre-production stages at CNN Films (the same folks behind the Ruth Bader Ginsberg doc, RBG). Few details were released, except that the plan is to have it completed early next year, just in time for film festival season.
Says CNN executive vice-president Amy Entelis: “We just want to make it perfect. We want to make it exquisite for Tony. We want to do him justice.”
We wholeheartedly concur.
