Anne Hathaway Fully Embraced the Barbiecore Trend with Her Latest Look

Following the rise of the Coastal Grandmother trend on TikTok (think sun hats, white linen, cardigans, etc.), there's been a new, completely opposite trend that's been making its own waves—Barbiecore. This style that focuses on bright pink colors, matching sets and mixed materials has been all the rage, potentially inspired by all those pics that have been released from the set of Greta Gerwig's upcoming Barbie film. Now, it looks like Anne Hathaway has hopped on the doll-inspired train.

While sitting front row at the Valentino haute couture F/W 22/23 fashion show this past Friday, the Devil Wears Prada actress sported an all-pink ensemble that could've certainly been rocked by Barbie. The outfit was styled by Erin Walsh, who put together a sparkly, long-sleeve mini dress with chunky platform heels and a small, matching bag. The Valentino ensemble was accessorized with Bulgari jewelry, and Raoúl Alejandre did Hathaway's makeup.

Hathaway's stylist shared shots of her to Instagram, where fellow celebs showed their love for the outfit. West Side Story star Ariana DeBose wrote, “You are an absolute queen!” Meanwhile, Looking for Alaska actress Kristine Froseth commented a series of heart-eyed emojis. Fans showed their love too, like one user who said, “Annie is a real-life Barbie.” Another wrote, “We love to see it! Obsessed with this vibe.”

Hathaway wasn't the only one who went for the Barbie vibe at the fashion show. South Korean singer Hwasa, who was seated next to Hathaway, also went for a hot pink look. Meanwhile, stylist Walsh dressed Emily in Paris actress Ashley Park in an all-pink look as well.

We gotta say, we are loving this Barbiecore trend. Keep the hot pink looks coming!
