*This* ‘American Horror Story’ Character’s Return Means Major Trouble for Season 8
Much to our delight horror, American Horror Story’s upcoming crossover season, Apocalypse, is bringing back many characters from season one, Murder House, and season three, Coven. But one character’s return is really giving us the heebie-jeebies: Vivien Harmon’s (Connie Britton) devil baby. Gasp!
AHS creator Ryan Murphy recently announced on Twitter that Cody Fern (Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story) will play the grown-up Michael Langdon in Apocalypse via an eerie side-by-side photo of him and his devious child counterpart.

Positively chilling, right? Well, hate to break it to you, but Michael’s return might mean a lot more than matching flannel shirts. Let’s take a walk down memory Murder House lane.
In season one, Vivien conceived Michael after being assaulted by Tate Langdon aka the Rubber Man (Evan Peters). As if that wasn’t difficult enough to stomach, a medium named Billie Dean Howard (Sarah Paulson) revealed that Michael would bring about the end of the world because he’s—wait for it—the Antichrist. His evil side was further proven when he, a baby, murdered his nanny. Since the upcoming season is called Apocalypse, it looks like doomsday has finally arrived.
