Between Amazon’s online plant shop and free same-day shipping of our favorite foods, it’s safe to say that we’re pretty big fans of the behemoth retailer. But if we had to pick a downside to Amazon’s services, it’s that purchasing groceries online means missing out on all those free samples in the store (aka the best part of the whole food-shopping experience).
Which is why the retail giant’s new perk for Prime members is seriously cool. Introducing Amazon Prime Samples, a genius service that lets you order samples of goods (including food, beauty, household and more) before committing to the larger sizes.
Here’s how it works: You have to purchase the samples (all items seem to be priced at $2), but you then receive a credit for the price of the samples. This credit can be used toward the purchase of the full-size products.
This means you can try before you buy (but, like, without having to deal with sweaty cheese that’s been sitting out for hours) and will probably never leave your house again. Sounds pretty good to us.
