In a new tweet and Instagram, everyone’s fave lover of sloths and wearer of pool gloves Kristen Bell confirmed she’ll return to the small screen as private eye Veronica Mars in a limited-series reboot for Hulu.
A month ago, we learned the streaming service is currently developing an eight-episode revival of the cult classic TV show, and no, this is not a drill. Not only is series creator Rob Thomas on board, but Kristen Bell was also expected to reprise her iconic role…and now we have definitive proof (hire us, Mars?).
Her tweet caption reads: “BREAKING NEWS out of Mars Investigations! :) A new

I hope we’re still friends after I taser you.” Bell also revealed that all old Veronica Mars episodes are now available to stream.
The original Veronica Mars premiered in 2004 and ran for two seasons on UPN, followed by an additional season on The CW. The show follows a California teen who goes full-blown detective following her best friend’s murder.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard the reboot rumors. In 2017, Bell revealed that she’s been in “constant contact” with Thomas about reviving the series. Although we don’t know much about Hulu’s version, we have a feeling grown-up Veronica Mars is ready to return to the small screen. (Sarcasm included.)
This face, right here, is our over-the-moon face.
