Your favorite movie ever is Beauty and the Beast. Your kid has dressed up as Elsa for Halloween for four years and counting. Your cat’s name is Mufasa. You’re planning a trip to Disney this year just to try the rose-gold churros. If this is you, we have amazing news.
After a 12-year hiatus, Disney and McDonald’s just announced a new partnership set to begin in June. That means Disney toys will return to Happy Meals. (!!!)
This comes on the heels of a menu revamp: McDonald’s will offer healthier options for kids and remove some items, like cheeseburgers, from menu listings. (The two companies initially split because McDonald’s didn’t meet Disney’s nutritional guidelines. Go, Mickey.) The nutritional changes will be rolled out by this summer.
