With so many Disney reboots happening these days, it’s almost hard to keep track of them all.

Next on our look-out-for list? The live-action Cruella de Vil film. Sure, it may be hard to imagine the evil (not to mention highly fashionable) villain played by anyone other than Glenn Close, but when we heard Emma Stone was tackling the role, we started paying major attention.

So what do we know so far? The live-action movie is said to give fans the origin tale of the iconic 101 Dalmatians villain, something neither the animated or 1996 film did. We also know the film will be set in the 1980s (gnarly) and that it will have a kind of punk vibe throughout.

And it looks like Disney is about to lock down Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) as the directer (!).

Emma Stone, the ’80s and puppies? Count us in.
