Dolce & Gabbana Now Makes Kitchen Appliances Because Why the Hell Not?
Dolce & Gabbana

A pet raccoon, a pair of baby Louboutins, a marble claw-footed bathtub. Add to the list of things we really want but absolutely do not need: Dolce & Gabbana kitchen appliances.

Yes, you read that correctly. The designer brand, in collaboration with Italian housewares company Smeg, now makes brightly patterned blenders, juicers and espresso machines, among other culinary necessities. For now, select pieces from the collection, called “Sicily Is My Love,” are available for preorder at Neiman Marcus (and are coming next month to Williams Sonoma).

Later this year, a blender, mixer and espresso machine will also be available.

Want to get your hands on a high-fashion appliance? You’ll need a cool $600 to purchase any item in the breakfast set (which consists of a tea kettle, juicer and toaster) and probably a bit more for the items due out later this year.

But can you really put a price tag on a brightly colored designer blender? The correct answer is yes. Yes, you can.
