Céline Dion Wore Scuba Gear as Pants & We Don’t Know What to Think

Leave it to Céline Dion to prove there’s no harm in going where no fashionista has gone before.

During a recent trip to Paris, the 51-year-old singer was spotted wearing scuba gear as pants. (Seriously.)

The top half of Dion’s outfit appears pretty dang normal, featuring a red, long-sleeve blouse paired with a blue blazer and stilettos. The rest of the getup is questionable, consisting of a black wetsuit that is lined with cheetah print.

Dion shared a photo of her ensemble on Instagram and wrote, “Weekend vibes.”

It’s important to note the wetsuit is, in fact, considered “fashion,” since it came straight from Calvin Klein’s 205W39NYC collection. However, we’re not fully convinced by the fad for two reasons:

First, we can only imagine how difficult it is to get off, especially after a long, hot day. (If you remember Erika Girardi’s latex outfit on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, then you know.)

And second, the wetsuit retails for $2,900. And since we don’t see it being an investment piece that never goes out of style, we highly doubt we’ll be adding this garment to our growing collection of celeb-approved items. (No offense, Céline.)

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer is preparing to embark on her first world tour in ten years. Earlier this month, Dion announced that she’s releasing her 12th studio album, Courage, and kicking off the “Courage World Tour” on September 18 in Québec City, Canada.

TBD if her tour wardrobe will include more scuba-chic pieces.
