Everything We Know About Wayfair's First-Ever Brick and Mortar Store

wayfair flagship store 728

Furniture. Decor. Reno supplies. Home mega-site Wayfair has it all—and typically at extremely affordable prices.

Still—and we may be old-fashioned here—when it comes to larger purchases (especially ones you have to sleep/sit on!) we'd rather see the piece in person before we pull the trigger. Hence, our excitement over Wayfair's latest announcement: They're opening their first brick and mortar store in the Natick, Massachusetts, mall early this fall. (Psst: Natick is right outside of Boston.)

And it looks like the store will offer more than just what you see on the website. "Shopping at the Wayfair store and online will be a seamless, connected experience for shoppers," explained Niraj Shah, CEO, co-founder and co-chairman, in a company press release. "Customer service and home design experts will be available to offer complimentary design consultations to customers, providing recommendations for everything from home improvement projects to décor. Shoppers will be able to immediately purchase an assortment of products in store and also have orders placed for delivery to their homes."

In other words, you can get designer advice, test out the look and comfort IRL and then order your new steal of a sofa. Fingers crossed this model sticks and more locations head to our neck of the woods.
