Princess Sofia of Sweden & Prince Carl Philip Share Sweet Family Photos from Son Julian’s Baptism

Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden celebrated a major family moment this weekend. The couple christened their third child, Julian, on Saturday at the Royal Chapel of Drottningholm Palace.

On Sunday, the Swedish royal family shared a snap from the event on their shared social media account. The image showcased the proud dad holding their newly-baptized son, while their two older children, Prince Alexander (5) and Prince Gabriel (3), hold their mother’s hand and smile for the camera. “Yesterday our beloved Julian was baptized. Thank you for all the best wishes!” the post’s caption read.

For the occasion, Sofia looked stunning in an off-white, floral dress and matching headband. While her husband rocked a black suit, and her children looked dapper in beige blazers and shorts.

And the family of five weren’t the only ones in attendance—they were also joined by Prince Carl Philip's parents, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and his sisters, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine.

The couple welcomed their third child together back in March and announced the exciting news in a statement that confirmed that Princess Sofia gave birth at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm. “We are so happy and grateful to be able to welcome our third son to our family,” Prince Carl Philip said. “Princess Sofia and I, and his two big brothers, have all been longing for this day. And now we are looking forward to getting to know this new little member of our family.”

Four months later, the royals shared a photo of their growing family with the world. See the image below.

Congrats, baby Julian!
