#TBT: Meghan Markle Spent Time with Retired Actors Today, and She Basically Relived Her Glory Days
We’re calling it a “Throwback Tuesday” today, because Meghan Markle paid tribute to her acting roots with a visit to the Royal Variety’s nursing home for entertainment industry veterans.
The former Suits star chatted with retired actors and actresses at Brinsworth House in Twickenham, England, in a Brock Collection floral midi dress that showed off her five-monthbaby bump (her and Prince Harry’s first child is due in April).
Speaking with former West End actress Josephine Gordon, 87, Markle said she was “very good,”then put her hands on her belly and added that she feels “very pregnant today.” She asked Gordon if she had any children, to which the Brinsworth resident replied, “No, I had a career.” Markle said, “Yes, that I understand,” owing to the fact that she was an actress before she became a member of the royal family.
Then, Duchess Meghan met Richard O’Sullivan, actor from the 1970s television sitcoms Man About the House and Robin’s Nest.

Markle was also recently involved in an entertainment-centric royal engagement when she had a private meeting with National Theater Director Rufus Norris last week.
Sadly, we shouldn’t expect the duchess on stage any time soon, since she seems to be just championing the cause that’s most suited to her former career. (Although, a production starring MM is obviously on our wish list this Christmas.)
