Meghan Markle's Bump-Hugging Midi Dress Is a Shout-Out to Her Family
The Duchess of Sussex just made her final official appearance before Christmas and added another show-stopping outfit to the long list of fabulous looks from the past year.
At a nursing home for those retired from the entertainment industry, Meghan Markle paid a solo visit wearing a bump-hugging white floral midi dress, and it isn't your typical winter frock. The square neckline, ruched cap sleeves, mid-calf length and front paneling with open slit scream spring and summer, but perhaps the mama-to-be is longing for her home in sunny California. Whatever the reason, the dress also includes a sweet shout-out to her family roots.
Worn under a Soia & Kyo coat, the Odilia dress ($1,480) is from the coveted L.A.-based brand Brock Collection. So while she probably isn’t going to spend Christmas with her family, Markle’s outfit is a nod to those back home (because, it’s Markle, and of course every detail of her attire is scrupulously accounted for).
Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to go hunt down all the florals we put in storage for winter.
