Just in case you’re not rosé-d out yet (but, like, give some other fruity wines a chance!!), we’ve got exciting news. This is for anyone who likes convenience, drinking, drinking conveniently and not lifting a finger (except to tap on the screen of your phone).
Introducing: a rosé cider that you can buy almost—almost—too easily. What with canned rosé and rosé ciders having a moment, Anyday Canned Rosé Cider is now available for purchase through Venmo (the first wine brand to accept transactions through the mobile payment app, according to the company’s press release) as well as on the brand’s website…and boyyyy do we see some legal troubles about underage drinking in their future.
So, yeah, you can literally just go to the Anyday Rosé website on your phone, make your selection, then choose “Venmo.” (We have officially reached peak 2018, and we’re not sure whether to drown our sorrow with anything but canned rosé, or jump for joy…)
The rosé cider cans each contain half a bottle of wine’s worth of cider (!!), come with an impressive 6.9 percent alcohol content and cost $32 for an eight-pack, $84 for a 24-pack, $312 for a 96-pack or $1,100 for a 365-pack (which, if you do the very complicated math, is exactly one can of rosé cider per day for one year, aka an incredibly excessive amount of freaking rosé cider).
But, hey, if we have a little extra Venmo balance burning a hole in our virtual wallet, we guess we know where to spend it (and, no, not on utilities).
