Guys, remember Blue’s Clues? OK, you’ll probably only recall watching the Nick Jr. show if you’re of a certain generation (*cough* millennial *cough*). But a new wave of kiddos is about to become acquainted with TV’s beloved sleuthing dog.
The classic ’90s Nickelodeon show is getting a 20-episode reboot. Blue is also getting a makeover, but don’t worry, she’ll still be a girl and she’ll still be blue.
For a refresher, the show—which starred an animated blue pup and her live-action owner, Steve—focused on preschool problem-solving and was one of the first interactive shows on children’s television.
Production won’t start until this summer, and a cast hasn’t even been lined up yet. But you can sign up to audition for the hosting role, if you’re so inclined. Nickelodeon says it is committed to diverse, inclusive casting and wants “qualified performers, without regard to disability, race, age, national origin, ethnic origin or any other basis.”
So if you can play 18 to 25 years old in front of a green screen and look good in stripes, you’re golden. Oh, and maybe a little juggling, guitar playing and singing wouldn’t hurt either.
