Step aside, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston, the Black Widow just earned a major honor.
Scarlett Johansson landed the top spot on Forbes’s annual list of highest-paid starlets. The actress raked in a whopping $40.5 million (pre-tax) between 2017 and 2018, which is largely due to the success of Avengers: Infinity War.
Jolie (Maleficent 2) came in second place with a cool $28 million, while Aniston’s endorsement contracts earned her $19.5 million. Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: Dark Phoenix) and Reese Witherspoon (Big Little Lies) rounded out the top five with $18 million and $16.5 million, respectively.
In descending order, the rest of the list includes Mila Kunis (The Spy Who Dumped Me), Julia Roberts (Wonder), Cate Blanchett (Ocean’s 8), Melissa McCarthy (Life of the Party) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman).
Who run the world? Girls.
