The Royal Family Shares a Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse of Their Stunning Christmas Decor (And the Tree Is Spectacular!)

If we need inspiration for how to decorate our homes for the holidays, there's no need to look any further than the royal family Instagram account.

The royals have been sharing glimpses of their Christmas decor, and their latest post showed the interior decorations at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. In the caption, they wrote, “The Christmas trees have arrived at Her Majesty’s official residence in Scotland, the Palace of Holyroodhouse!”

The caption provided further details about the festive furnishings, where they said, “The Palace has lit up with festive wreaths, garlands and lights, including a 15-foot-high Christmas tree in the Great Gallery. In the Royal Dining Room, the table sparkles with flowers, wreaths and candied sugared fruits.”

And for those who live near the Edinburgh residence or are traveling in the area, the incredible decor can actually be viewed in person. On the Royal Collection Trust Instagram account, they said, “Visit from today until 6 January to see Edinburgh's Royal Palace transformed for the festive season.” Tickets can be booked here.

This is not the first glimpse of Christmas spirit we've seen on the royal family account. Just last week, they showed the decorations that are being displayed in Windsor Castle, too. In the caption they said, “The finishing touches are made to the 20-foot Christmas tree in St George’s Hall, Windsor Castle as part of the Royal Collection's annual Christmas display.”

For those who wish to see the furnishings that are on display at Windsor Castle, tickets can be booked here to visit through January 3.

Nothing gets us in the Christmas spirit quite like the royal family's holiday decorations.
