The season two finale of This Is Us aired last night, and series creator Dan Fogelman didn’t hold back on the cliffhangers.

The episode concluded by giving us a glimpse into what the future holds for Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and, well, the possibilities are endless.

Season three isn’t expected to premiere until late 2018, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start speculating about what’s to come. Here, everything we know about the Big Three’s future story lines.

Kevin Pearson

In the first flash-forward, Kevin is sitting on a plane with his new lady friend, Beth’s cousin Zoe (Melanie Liburd), while holding a photo of his dad and uncle. The pair seem to be traveling to Vietnam, and while we don’t know the purpose of the trip, we’re just happy to see Kevin is shaping up post-rehab.

Kate Pearson

On the other hand, Kate’s future shows Toby curled up in bed while she informs him that the doctor wants to change his meds.

All signs point to earlier in the episode when Toby’s dad (Dan Lauria) and mom (Wendie Malick) express their concerns about Kate and reveal that Toby suffered from depression after divorcing his ex-wife, Josie.

Randall Pearson

The final story line depicts an older Randall telling grown-up Tess (Iantha Richardson) it’s time to “go see her.” Is he referring to Deja? Beth? Or (gasp!) Annie?

Either way, if they’re not emotionally ready, then neither are we.
