Check Out the Dreadful New ‘OITNB’ Prison in the Revamped Season 6 Title Sequence
Things are about to get a whole lot worse (and significantly less spacious) for the ladies of Litchfield.
After hinting the Orange Is the New Black crew might be moving on to greener higher-security pastures, Netflix just released a first-look at Piper (Taylor Schilling), Alex (Laura Prepon), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Red (Kate Mulgrew) and company’s new digs via a revamped title sequence and some pretty drab still images. Spoiler alert: This place makes Litchfield look like Buckingham Palace.

Could it really be that bad, you might ask? Yep. The gals’ new concrete confinement features more “intimate” rooms, showers with handcuffs, bleak prison towers and lots of barbwire. Come to think of it, the new correctional facility looks like, well, an IRL penitentiary.
