Brace for Impact: Netflix’s New ‘Lost in Space’ Trailer Just Dropped
Attention, earthlings! The first trailer for Netflix’s revival of the popular ’60s TV show Lost in Space just landed.
The sci-fi series is set 30 years in the future and centers on the Robinson family—a seemingly normal clan who’s selected to try their hand at colonizing a new world. But the aspiring colonists get lost on their way to their new extraterrestrial home and must work together to survive their dangerous new environment that’s light-years away from their original destination. Along the way, they meet a helpful robot and the not-so-helpful Dr. Smith (Parker Posey).
Toby Stephens (Black Sails) and Molly Parker (House of Cards) star as the Robinson parents, John and Maureen. Their children—Judy, Penny and Will—are played by Taylor Russell (Falling Skies), Mina Sundwall (Maggie’s Plan) and Max Jenkins (Sense8), respectively.
The series, which was created by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (The Last Witch Hunter), is set to premiere on April 13.
