Katy Perry Just Sported *Two* Show-Stopping Looks on the Red Carpet, Including a Vintage '70s Gown

While Katy Perry has quite a few number-one hits under her belt, the 36-year-old has also made many a fashion statement throughout the years.

Earlier this week, the “Teenage Dream” singer walked the red carpet at a Luisaviaroma and UNICEF gala with her husband, Orlando Bloom. Throughout the evening, she rocked not just one, but two chic dresses. However, there were no whipped cream-spurting bras or chandeliers in Perry's outfits this time. Instead, the artist opted for some simpler looks that still managed to be scene-stealers.

Perry showed off her gowns in a slideshow she posted to her Instagram. “Ty @luisaviaroma & of course my friends @unicefitalia ♥️,” she said.

In the first video, Perry gives her best angles in a vintage Pierre Cardin dress from the ’70s. Vintage dealer Cherie Balch described the dress on her Instagram account, where she said, “Katy is wearing a 1978 Haute Couture Pierre Cardin from my archives to the UNICEF Gala tonight. It’s extra exciting because she never does vintage and IT IS JUST a HUGE moment.”

The black gown featured two dramatic sleeves that were cinched with black ribbons. Balch worked with stylist Tatiana Waterford to bring the look together. Meanwhile, Perry's top knot bun was done by Jesus Guerrero, while her makeup was applied by Michael Anthony.

After three different shots of her first look, Perry showed off a second stunning ensemble in the fourth image of her slideshow. This sequined, gold gown featuring a long white cape was courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture collection. If there's one cape that Edna Mode might approve of, it would probably be this one.

Fellow celebs certainly approved, like Chelsea Handler, who said, “Beautiful baby,” and Derek Blasberg, who wrote, “MARY!!!!!!!!”

Keep the iconic looks coming, Katy.
