You Have to See Gwyneth Paltrow’s Unexpected (but Gorgeous) Engagement Ring
From founding Goop to coining the term conscious-uncoupling, Gwyneth Paltrow is the very definition of trendsetter. So it’s no surprise that her engagement ring from her fiancé, Brad Falchuk, is anything but average.
The Oscar-winning actress debuted her massive engagement ring at the Producers Guild Awards when she presented her hubby-to-be’s creative partner, Ryan Murphy, with the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television.
Brilliant Earth vice president of strategy and merchandising Kathryn Money tells PureWow that GP’s new sparkler appears to be a premium vivid blue round brilliant sapphire in the ten- to 13-carat range. Um, whoa.
The stark contrast of Paltrow’s red Alex Perry gown to her new bling made the stone sparkle even more. Money says it is “very rare due to its size and gorgeous vivid hue.” Paltrow’s rock is safely nestled between claw prongs at the compass points, and Money estimates Falchuk’s overall cost for the ring was between $300,000 to $500,000.
You keep doing you, GP and BF.
