A very preggers Kate Hudson and mom Goldie Hawn appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, and it was all laughs with the pair as they recounted Hudson’s last delivery (to now-7-year-old son Bingham).
According to Hudson, who’s pregnant with a baby girl and joked that her “water could go any second,” the delivery lasted 18 hours. ThoughHawn wasn’t there for the whole thing.
“I got hungry! She was in stirrups and everything and was dilated. So I said, ‘I’m just really hungry, I’m just going to come back.’ I came back with pizza and Doritos,” the 72-year-old recalls.
Hudson remembered another excuse for leaving the delivery room. “The best part was when Mom called me when I was in labor and said, ‘Iwas about to take a swim and then I was going to have a massage. How long do you think you’re going to be laboring?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know, Mom!’ I’m like calling the nurse, going, ‘Do you know how long I’m going to be laboring? My mom wants to swim.’”
We can’t help but think we’d be right there with her. (Water aerobics during the next birth, Goldie?)
