A warm afternoon calls for a refreshing drink, so we're teaming up with Aida Mollenkamp of Salt & Wind to up our cocktail game this summer. This kiwi mint margarita is a little bit spicy, a little bit fruity, and it will definitely impress at your next soirée.

4 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced paper-thin
3 to 5 fresh mint leaves
1½ ounces 100 percent agave silver tequila
½ ounce orange liqueur
½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
½ ounce agave nectar or simple syrup
Crushed ice
1. Set aside a few kiwi slices for garnish, then put the rest in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine 3 ounces kiwi puree with a few slices of jalapeño, mint, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave. Fill halfway with ice, then close and shake until thoroughly chilled.
3. Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice and garnish with kiwi slices.
