East Dallas Is Blowing Up and Here’s Where You Need to Go
Sure, Greenville Avenue has been buzzy for a while, but East Dallas as a whole is primed to be the newest hot spot for great food, drinks and everything in between. So if you haven’t been east of 75 in some time, here’s everywhere you should hit up before everyone else hears about them.
Eat At The Halal Guys
Yet another NYC food trend Dallasites are devouring: Middle Eastern street food. People can’t get enough of the signature platters of chicken, gyro and rice. And the best news? It’s open until 2 a.m. should you find yourself hungry after barhopping. Word to the wise: Go heavy on the white sauce, easy on the red sauce (but don’t skip either).

Caffeinate At Halcyon
Move over, Mudsmith (for now, we mean). There’s a new coffee spot in town. In addition to a jaw-dropping interior (no dark, emo space here), this place is serving up some serious caffeine from Barrett’s Micro Roast Coffee in Austin. We love their signature Thai iced coffee and espresso cocktails. They also feature live music from time to time in true coffee-shop fashion.
