East Dallas Is Blowing Up and Here’s Where You Need to Go
Sure, Greenville Avenue has been buzzy for a while, but East Dallas as a whole is primed to be the newest hot spot for great food, drinks and everything in between. So if you haven’t been east of 75 in some time, here’s everywhere you should hit up before everyone else hears about them.
Eat At The Halal Guys
Yet another NYC food trend Dallasites are devouring: Middle Eastern street food. People can’t get enough of the signature platters of chicken, gyro and rice. And the best news? It’s open until 2 a.m. should you find yourself hungry after barhopping. Word to the wise: Go heavy on the white sauce, easy on the red sauce (but don’t skip either).
Drink At Feed Company Eatery & Bourbon Lounge
Brand-spanking-new to Greenville Avenue (we’re talking days old, people), this drinking hole and eatery offers 120 bourbons and scotches and you can order by the sip. They also have cocktails named Queen-B and Hova, which earns them bonus points from the jump.

Relax At Vivian’s Boutique Spa
If Anthropologie opened a salon, this would be it. A passion project for owner Kristin Barton, this relaxation oasis offers manicures and pedicures using McKinney-based FarmHouse Fresh and Jurlique products. And in case you’re wondering, the salon is named after Barton’s niece.
Shop At LEKKA Café & Gifts
For the shopping obsessed, all of your dreams are coming true. You can now shop home goods, art and pottery while enjoying delicious food and cold drinks. And because they want you to have your cake and eat it too, they also offer those (whole or by the slice).

Beautify At The Brow Project
Had a tweezer addiction in the ’90s? Nicole Blankenship can bring your over-plucked brows back to life with microblading. Check out the killer gallery of before and after pictures, and then get ready for this brow guru to frame your face with her beautiful brow technique.
Caffeinate At Halcyon
Move over, Mudsmith (for now, we mean). There’s a new coffee spot in town. In addition to a jaw-dropping interior (no dark, emo space here), this place is serving up some serious caffeine from Barrett’s Micro Roast Coffee in Austin. We love their signature Thai iced coffee and espresso cocktails. They also feature live music from time to time in true coffee-shop fashion.
Work Out At Paradigm Gym
This brother-and-sister-owned gym is all about consistency and living your best and healthiest life. And with classes like Primal Fit, Cut It and Ropes and Rows, we can assure you that you will be living your best life—if that means being consistently sore. Ahhhhh, hurts so good.
