Based on the trailer, there are five key takeaways: 1. Otis has a new secret fling (who’s not Maeve). 2. Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) and Adam (Connor Swindells) are officially a couple. 3. The new head teacher (Jemima Kirkenew) is actually enforcing rules. 4. Jean (Gillian Anderson) is expecting a baby. Oh, and 5. Otis nearly breaks down every time someone mentions Maeve.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “It’s a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way.
