The slideshow featured a black-and-white photo followed by the heartfelt message, which read: “I know I’ve said this before, but I do want to reiterate to everyone that Euphoria is for mature audiences. This season, maybe even more so than the last, is deeply emotional and deals with subject matter that can be triggering and difficult to watch. Please only watch it if you feel comfortable. Take care of yourself and know that either way you are still loved and I can still feel your support.”
She signed the post, “All my love, Daya.”
Zendaya is referring to the show’s sensitive material, which includes everything from sexual assault to drug use and violence. Although each episode features a disclaimer, the actress’s post serves as a reminder for anyone who might be triggered.
In addition to Zendaya, Euphoria also stars Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demi, Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi, Austin Abrams, Angus Cloud, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane and newcomer Dominic Fike.
Euphoria airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
