Brand-New ‘Virgin River’ Trailer Teases What’s to Come in Season 4

It’s been one year since Virgin River season 3 premiered on Netflix. And now, we finally have a glimpse of what’s to come in the brand-new installment.

Today, the streaming service released the first official trailer for Virgin River season 4, which will premiere on July 20. And based on the footage, it seems the drama is aplenty.

The brand-new season picks up right where we left off in the previous installment, with Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) navigating the first stages of pregnancy without knowing whether Mark (Daniel Gillies) or Jack (Martin Henderson) is the baby’s father. While Mel is desperate to find out, Jack doesn’t want to do a paternity test because it may change the way he feels about the child. To cope with his feelings, he turns to alcohol.

To make things more complicated, Doc (Tim Matheson) hires a new doctor at the clinic, Cameron (Mark Ghanime), who seems to develop a small crush on Mel. Plus, Preacher (Colin Lawrence) is determined to find Christopher (Chase Petriw), who was kidnapped by Vince (Ian Tracey) in season 3.

The post’s caption read, “The moment you’ve all been waiting for…. The trailer for SEASON 4! We will be back and rolling down the River July 20th. See you soon.”

Season four won’t be the show’s last because Netflix has already renewed Virgin River for season 5. In an interview with PureWow, Annette O’Toole (who plays Hope McCrea) confirmed that the cast is currently filming the new episodes in Canada.

We. Can’t. Wait.
