If you’ve already binge-watched your way through all eight episodes of Get Organized with the Home Edit and still can’t seem to part with the clutter in your life, you’re in luck. Marie Kondo appears to be looking for a new set of contestants to star on season two of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.

So, when does it premiere? And how can you apply to be on the show? Keep reading for all the details.

1. When does Tidying Up With Marie Kondo season 2 premiere?

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed Tidying Up with Marie Kondo for season two. However, we recently learned that Kondo is casting for an “all-new series” (which is very likely just a second season of her hit show), so it’s probably only a matter of time.

2. What is Tidying Up With Marie Kondo about?

The Netflix show follows the home organizer as she helps people declutter their homes. This includes everything from busy parents to retired couples who are determined to reclaim their space.

Season one of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo premiered back in January 2019, and it immediately gained popularity for its oddly calming qualities (similar to Get Organized). In addition to the show, Kondo has also published several books, including The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.

3. How can I apply for Tidying Up With Marie Kondo?

The show is seemingly casting for season two (though it is possible it’s for a new series with a similar premise), since Kondo is seeking new subjects. To apply or nominate someone you know, all you need to do is send an email with your name and contact information to info@castingduo.com. Be sure to include a photo and a small message about “what kind of joy you want to spark.”

In order to qualify, applicants must be age 18+ and located in the Southern California area.
