This Action-Packed Show Is Now #1 on Netflix—Just 1 Day After Being Canceled

Manifest fans are not giving up despite the news that NBC canceled the supernatural drama following the season three finale.

This week, Manifest claimed the number one spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched shows. (It’s currently ranked ahead of Sweet Tooth, Lupin and Workin' Moms.)

The series’s rise in Netflix popularity comes the same week NBC announced that season three will be the show's last. Despite widespread disappointment, Manifest creator Jeff Rake assured fans that he’s trying to find a new home for future installments.

“My dear Manifesters, I’m devastated by NBC’s decision to cancel us,” he wrote on Twitter. “That we’ve been shut down in the middle is a gut punch to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, cast, and crew. #savemanifest.”

So, what is Manifest about? The hit NBC show tells the mysterious story of a group of passengers, who board a flight that lands five years in the future. The 191 travelers return to a world that is quite different from the one they left behind.

The government is stumped by the plane’s sudden reappearance, especially since everyone was assumed dead. Meanwhile, things get even more complicated when the passengers start experiencing visions and hearing voices that can seemingly predict the future.

The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh (Star Trek Beyond), Josh Dallas (Once Upon a Time), Athena Karkanis (Saw VI), J.R. Ramirez (Jessica Jones), Luna Blaise (Fresh Off the Boat), Jack Messina (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Parveen Kaur (Beyond).

We’ll definitely be adding this to our queue.
