Joe Goldberg isn’t done creeping us out just yet. Netflix recently dropped the official trailer and premiere date for You season three. In honor of the upcoming installments, we compiled a list of everything we know about the third season. Keep reading for all the details.

1. Will There Be A Third Season Of 'you'?

The answer—YES. The new season will consist of ten episodes.

We’re not totally surprised by the show’s return, which we learned about last year. Series co-creator and executive producer Sera Gamble previously teased another installment in an interview with Cosmo U.K., saying, “Absolutely, it could come back for season three. First of all, it’s up to the powers that be. We hope that a lot of people will watch the show and that it gets to continue.”

Oh, and did we mention that more than 40 million users watched You season two in its first four weeks on Netflix? Translation: It was only a matter of time.

2. When Does Season Three Premiere?

You season three will hit Netflix on Friday, October 15. (And yes, we’ve already cleared our weekend plans.)

3. Is There A Cast?

Here’s what we know: Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl) will return as Joe Goldberg (aka Will Bettelheim). And yes, Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Bly Manor) will reprise her role as Love.

In October 2020, the streaming service confirmed the new episodes will also feature a few newcomers—Shalita Grant (NCIS: New Orleans) will play a “Mom-fluencer” named Sherry, who pretends to befriend Love.

Travis Van Winkle (Friday the 13th) will also join the cast as Cary, a wealthy man who crosses paths with Joe. Rounding out the list is Scott Speedman (Animal Kingdom), who will portray Matthew, a successful CEO and family man who’s masking “a deep well of emotion underneath.” Has Joe finally met his match?

4. Who Is Victoria Pedretti?

The 25-year-old actress plays Love in You season two, but the Netflix series isn’t her only claim to fame. Pedretti is widely known for starring in The Haunting of Hill House. In the most recent season (AKA The Haunting of Bly Manor), she portrays Danielle “Dani” Clayton, a young governess who is hired by a man to look after his niece and nephew. The problem? The compound is haunted by spirits from the family’s past. *Cue the nightmares*

5. Is There A Trailer?

You bet, and by the looks of the footage, season three picks up right where season two left off. You know, with Joe and Love becoming parents.

In the trailer, Joe tries (and fails) to adjust to his new life as a dad. “In my history of scared, this is the most scared I’ve ever been,” he says in the clip. “I’ve always believed in ‘The One,’ but being your dad is changing me.” Joe goes on to describe his new life as a suburban dad, adding, “For you, I’d move to some soulless suburb. For you, I’d marry the monster.”

However, everything changes when Joe meets the woman who lives across the street and develops an unhealthy obsession with her. (Sound familiar?)
