Queen Elizabeth’s Headscarf Stole the Show in Prince Charles’s Throwback Birthday Post

Prince Charles is celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s birthday with a walk down memory lane, and we can’t take our eyes off the monarch’s timeless headscarf.

Today, the 71-year-old royal celebrated his mom’s 94th birthday by sharing a series of photos on the joint Twitter account (@ClarenceHouse) that he shares with his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles. The Prince of Wales posted two rare mother-son pictures followed by two recent snaps, all of which prove that Queen Elizabeth’s style hasn’t changed one bit.

The post includes a pic of baby Prince Charles, along with a photo of the queen congratulating her son after a polo match. (Headscarf FTW.) As for the recent photos, the snap with Bowles was taken on day two of the 2019 Royal Ascot, while the picture with Princess Anne was from the annual Braemar Highland Gathering in 2018.

Prince Charles captioned the post, “Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy 94th Birthday.”

The Prince of Wales isn’t the only royal who wished Queen Elizabeth a happy birthday. The family’s official Instagram account shared a special video montage, featuring never-before-seen videos of the monarch and her younger sister, Princess Margaret.

Prince William and Kate Middleton also celebrated Her Majesty’s birthday by posting a photo on their official Instagram account (@kensingtonroyal). It read, “Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very happy 94th birthday today!”

Cheers to more timeless fashion!
