Like most of the world, we’re obsessed with avocados. But if we had to choose their worst part, it would obviously be the pit—and the overwhelming fear we have of slicing off our fingers every time we remove one.
Well, hold on to your hat, because pitless avocados are now a thing. *Choir of angels sings*
Per the BBC, these babies are called cocktail avocados and are grown in Spain as a result of an unpollinated avocado blossom. While they’re not currently available in the U.S., lucky ducks in the U.K. can buy the pitless wonders at Marks & Spencer.
Is it weird that now all we want for Christmas is for pitless avos to make their way stateside?
