Oh, how we love our KitchenAid mixer. Not only did it score 94-points in a PureWow100 review for its versatility in the kitchen, but its design is undeniably iconic (and it’s available in dozens of colors). So, while we’re on the topic of design, we’d be remiss if we gate-kept the brand’s latest introduction: Blossom.

First thing’s first: The soft thyme green color is so *right now* (read: pale green is the hottest color of 2022). Yet, aside from its swoon-worthy hue, we love how it includes a  hammered copper bowl that develops a unique patina over time. “The [thyme green] has a velvety satin finish, coordinating color trim band, botanical accents, and a petaled hub cover. The copper bowl will reflect each Maker’s unique experience. Whether you choose to keep it shiny with polish or let it patina over time, it will have a beautiful story to tell in and of itself,” explains Jessica McConnell, the Director of Whirlpool Color, Finish and Material Design.

As for functionality, there’s a reason why this mixer is a classic kitchen staple. It includes over 10 attachments—which allow you to make everything from lasagna noodles to your own freshly ground burger blends—and after eight years of regular use, not a single part has needed to be replaced on our reviewer’s ice blue model. Not to mention that it’s best for experimental cooks (and in the five-quart size, you can bake up to nine dozen cookies at once).
