Your Monthly Horoscopes: November 2022

We’ve tried, and there’s simply no way to sugarcoat it: November’s astro weather is extremely challenging. The good news is: The problems we’re facing now aren’t anything new. We enter the month in the midst of eclipse season with action planet Mars moving retrograde. While the eclipses stir fate, summoning sudden beginnings and endings, Mars retrograde brings confusion, wars of words and delays. The solar eclipse in Scorpio on October 25th forced us to let something go—whether that was a toxic relationship, a bad habit, or those boots collecting dust in the back of the closet—so there’s space to fill now! 

But with the present unstable and the future uncertain, we’re left at a loss. What’s sustainable and reliable enough to go in its place? The total lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 8th comes with even more shocking upsets, but may also offer some unexpected generosity. Though it’s easy to shut down when things are this rough, being open to giving and receiving kindness provides solutions.

Once we get through these eclipses, things ease up ever so slightly by the third week of the month as we move from protective Scorpio season to mischievous Sagittarius season. Love planet Venus moves into Sagittarius on the 16th, followed by communication planet Mercury on the 17th and then the sun on the 22nd. Sags really know how to make an entrance, just ask Taylor Swift, and this seasonal shift feels like a raging bonfire of relief. The new moon in Sagittarius on the 23rd (which goes exact as abundance planet Jupiter stations direct in optimistic Pisces) encourages setting some bold and, dare we say, joyful intentions. That’s not to say things aren’t still muddled, difficult, precarious, or all of the above, but at the very least, there’s some levity as we work through the difficulties.
