Some insist you’re never going to be ready to settle down, but you love love just as much as you love waxing poetic about the critical theory in every episode of Gossip Girl. So, who makes you swoon? Which signs are worthy of both your hot takes and your eloquent insights? Here’s our definitive Gemini compatibility ranking. 

On paper, Gemini and Capricorn have almost nothing in common and this is pretty true in practice as well. While Capricorns are traditionalists, Geminis are obsessed with current culture. While Geminis can barely schedule their day, Capricorns always have a 30-year plan. One’s texting 67 people at a time while the other is methodically keeping a bullet journal. Mutable air meets Cardinal earth: How could they possibly get along? The one thing that could bring these two together is a mutual love of antiques or classic luxury items. These two could even have an amazing day wandering galleries at the Met or the Museum of Natural History. Wherever lots of information meets history, these two are on the same page. That is, until Gemini gets bored and quickly moves onto the next thing.

With Taurus as the most loyal sign in the zodiac and Gemini having an extremely flirtatious reputation, these two only come together when they’re looking for trouble. This match causes instant and constant drama. Taurus just wants stability and Gemini just wants freedom. And though these things don’t have to be diametrically opposed, the more Taurus tries to control Gemini’s schedule, the more Gemini rebels. Though these two signs sit right next to each other on the zodiac (and they’re more similar than they’d like to believe), they’ll never see eye to eye. Gemini’s elusiveness annoys Cancer to no end. Gemini and Virgo are both ruled by communication planet Mercury. These two have a lot in common and an instant rapport. Both are obsessed with collecting information, dissecting it and proving to everyone that they’re right. Gemini and Sagittarius are opposite signs. Debatably, of all the opposites in the zodiac, these two are actually the most similar. Both love freedom, exploration and know the value of a good debate. When they come together, their arguments are their foreplay.
