  • Prince William and Kate Middleton recently updated their profile picture for their shared Kensington Royal accounts. Royally obsessed fans (please don’t judge) noticed the change to the couple’s Instagram and Twitter pages over the weekend. While their previous profile pic was the family's 2018 Christmas card, it now features a more recent photo of the gang from when they made a rare TV appearance last month.

  • Over the weekend, Clarence House released a video of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles surprising the mail carrier (aka “postman Neil”) and gifting him with a letter addressed to “Everyone at Royal Mail.” In the note, the couple praised the 90,000 postal workers and commended their “dedication, resilience and hard work” during this difficult time.
  • Spotted: Prince Harry on Zoom. The Duke of Sussex recently appeared in a video for OnSide, a U.K. charity that provides underprivileged youths with social centers (dubbed “Youth Zones”). In the clip, he discusses memories from last year’s OnSide Youth Zones Awards, where he met with young participants and even presented an award.

  • Speaking of videos and Prince Harry, the duke also made a surprise television appearance on Monday. The 35-year-old showed up unexpectedly (via Zoom) on BBC’s The One Show to reunite two sets of veterans and their families. And his signature sense of humor even made a cameo.
  • During a recent video call with veterans, Kate Middleton revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been learning the lyrics to "We'll Meet Again" by Vera Lynn as part of a school project. Looks like there’s a lot of singing going on at the Cambridge household.
  • This week, Middleton's youngest sibling James Middleton underwent a complete transformation (aka shaved off his beard) in order to surprise his fiancée, French financier Alizee Thevenet. The 33-year-old posted a video of himself removing the facial hair, in honor of what was supposed to be the couple’s wedding month.
  • Royal baby news is always a bright spot in our week, but especially during a pandemic. That’s why we were thrilled to learn the heir to the Luxembourg throne, Prince Guillaume, and his wife, Princess Stephanie, are officially parents after welcoming their first child—a boy! And did we mention his name is Prince Charles?
  • To mark International Nurses Day (Tuesday, May 11), Kate Middleton and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, joined forces to video chat with nurses around the world. This was the first time we’ve seen members of the royal gang (who don’t live together) team up for a virtual engagement.
  • On Wednesday, royals expert Katie Nicholl revealed that despite all of the recent media scrutiny about their degree of closeness, there’s actually no bad blood between Prince Harry and Prince William. In fact, they’ve even been keeping in touch since Harry’s move to Los Angeles. How sweet.
  • On Tuesday, Clarence House shared a video message from the Duchess of Cornwall to the Royal Naval Medical Services on Instagram, thanking naval nurses for their continued work in supporting the nation’s health during the current pandemic. And although we’ve seen the room where she shot the clip before (her home office), this time, we got a closer look at her and Prince Charles’s collection of books. Looks like someone is a fan of crime-fiction.
  • During the latest episode of the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast, Nema Vand (who stars on the Bravo series Shahs of Sunset) opened up about his friendship with the Duchess of Sussex before she was, well, the duchess. And it seems like the duo were almost more than just friends. The branding executive revealed that the 38-year-old even went so far as to learn Farsi (the Persian language) to impress him. Now, that’s commitment.
  • On Thursday, the Diana Award charity, which was created in memory of Princess Diana and aims to inspire positive change in the lives of young people, revealed that William had written a letter to offer thanks and support on behalf of himself and Prince Harry. We found it most noteworthy that William included his younger brother in the sentiments—proving once again that nothing can keep these two apart.
