The royal wedding is fast approaching. (Squee!) Whether you’re flying to London to experience Meghan and Harry mania IRL or watching from the comfort of your living room, here’s everything you need to know about their May 19 nuptials. Hint: You may want to adjust your sleep schedule now.

THE INVITES

The couple opted for gold-and-black invites handcrafted by Barnard & Westwood. In accordance with royal tradition, the invites feature the feathered badge of the Prince of Wales in gold stamped ink. They also pay tribute to Markle’s American heritage by featuring U.S.-made ink on an English card. As they say, it’s all in the details.

THE DRESS(ES)

When it comes to the royal wedding, Markle’s planning mantra is definitely go big or go home. So it comes as no surprise that the royal-to-be reportedly plans to wear two custom designer gowns on her big day: one for the ceremony and one for the evening reception. Still no word on which designer has been bestowed the honor.

THE TIARA

Although it’s not clear which wedding tiara Markle will rock, she’s definitely got options. Between the Queen Mother’s flower-crown-esque Strathmore Rose Tiara, Princess Diana’s halo-like Spencer Tiara or (our fave) the Queen Mother’s Cartier Bracelet Bandeau, the odds are ever in Markle’s favor.

THE WEDDING PARTY

It’s widely expected that Prince William will return the favor and serve as his brother’s best man. Markle’s side of the wedding party, however, is still up for debate. Her pals, tennis star Serena Williams, Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, designer Misha Nonoo and bridal stylist Jessica Mulroney are reportedly on the bridesmaid short list

THE GUESTS

In addition to the royal family, Harry and Meg invited a staggering 2,640 members of the public to their Windsor Castle wedding. Of course, not everyone will get to dance the night away with the newlyweds, but a royal wedding invite is a royal wedding invite.

THE DRESS CODE

This is no khakis or no LBD kind of event. The royal wedding invitation calls for “uniform, morning coat or lounge suit / day dress with hat.” No idea what that means? We’ve got you covered.

The Photographer

Markle and Prince Harry looked no further than their engagement photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, to capture their big day. Lubomirski met the couple via Instagram and the rest is history.

THE FLOWERS

The royal wedding will feature blooms courtesy of luxury florist Philippa Craddock, who designed arrangements with beech, birch, hornbeam, peonies and foxgloves for the occasion. Harry and Meghan’s floralscape will also include white garden roses as a tribute to Princess Diana*Tear*

THE SIGNATURE SCENT

What would a royal wedding be without a signature scent? Thanks to royal scent crafter Floris London, the couple’s wedding will smell like bergamot, orange blossom, ginger and green tea. Divine.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony will commence at 12 p.m. London time at St. George’s Chapel, with the Archbishop of Canterbury officiating and the Dean of Windsor conducting the service. Noon is a lovely time for a wedding, but for those of us residing stateside, that means rising at the early hour of 4 a.m. PT or 7 a.m. ET to catch it on CBS or PBS. NBC will begin its royal wedding coverage at 4:30 a.m. PT / 7:30 a.m. ET. Totally worth it.

THE CHARIOT RIDE

After tying the knot, the prince and his duchess will ride along the streets of London in a horse-drawn carriage. Ah, so romantic.

THE DAYTIME RECEPTION

While Prince Harry and Markle galavant around London, guests will head over to St. George’s Hall to pop Champagne and fete the happy couple.

The Evening Reception

Harry’s royal successor dad, Prince Charles, will host a 200-person reception for the newlyweds after their fairy-tale carriage ride.

The Cake

As the royal wedding draws to a close, Harry, Meghan and their guests will indulge in a lemon elderflower cake from London’s Violet Bakery.

The Bridesmaids & Page Boys

The royal couple will be joined by a hoard of bridesmaids and page boys, including Prince Harry’s niece and nephew, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince George, 4; goddaughters of Prince Harry, Florence van Cutsem, 3, and Zalie Warren, 2; goddaughters of Markle, Remi Litt, 6, and Rylan Litt, 7; Markle’s BFF’s kids, Ivy Mulroney, 4, Brian Mulroney, 7, and John Mulroney, 7; and godson of Prince Harry, Jasper Dyer, 6. Phew, that’s a lot.

The Honeymoon

Post-nuptials, the couple will honeymoon in a place close to their hearts—Africa. They reportedly plan to stay on a luxury campsite in Kaokoland, Namibia, that costs a cool $660 per person per night. Harry and Meghan fell in love during a three-week trip to Botswana, so it makes sense they’d return to the scene of the crime budding romance.

We’ll be waiting on those royal babies, guys.
