We Almost Missed Prince Harry's Secret Appearance This Week (Sans Meghan Markle)

Prince Harry is a busy guy these days. However, he still managed to make time to volunteer for a charity close to his heart. Not to mention, he did so (almost) completely under the radar.

Last week, the Duke of Sussex volunteered with a veterans' charity in Compton in southern Los Angeles. Called the Walker Family Events Foundation, the organization provides support to veterans and their families struggling with homelessness due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the event itself was fairly low-key, the foundation shared a few photographs of the 35-year-old prince helping to package and distribute food to those in need.

“Today I had the honor of meeting and working alongside Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex," the foundation captioned an Instagram post. “He joined us in volunteering at Compton VFW for the Operation Nourish program packing and distributing food to our #Compton neighbors. He is very humble and kind.”

In the first pic, we see the duke standing in front of a charity table covered in bags of food, while in the second (which is a bit blurry) he’s standing in front of a pile of boxes with gloves hanging out of his back pocket.

For the occasion, Prince Harry looked casual in a polo shirt with a matching baseball hat. He topped off his look with a pair of blue jeans and New Balance sneakers. He also donned the proper PPE, of course. (We can’t lie, we love this dad look.)

No word on the whereabouts of his wife Meghan Markle, who often accompanies her hubby on charity endeavors. Perhaps she was home with baby Archie or doing some charity work of her own.

Keep it up, Harry.
