Prince Harry Makes a Surprise Appearance at the Texas Rodeo

Prince Harry is saddling up once again for a day at the rodeo.

On Saturday, the Duke of Sussex was spotted at The Stockyards Championship Rodeo in Fort Worth, Texas. Harry was photographed wearing a cowboy hat and watching a bull-riding show.

Cindy Reid, who is secretary of the facility, posted a now-deleted photo of the event, writing, “Where was Prince Harry Saturday night? Oooooh, just hanging out behind the bucking chutes at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo!! Loooove it!! Thank you for the visit!!”

The duke is no stranger to the cowboy life. According to Newsweek, Harry worked as a jackaroo, also known as an Australian cowboy, during his time abroad in 2003.

The young prince was 19 years old and the experience marked the first time he lived outside of Britain. Harry worked on a cattle ranch owned by two friends of his late mother, Princess Diana.

At the time, he wore a navy blue button-down shirt with denim jeans and a chestnut-colored cowboy hat. He stood beside a horse named Guardsman, which referenced the British Army soldiers who guarded outside Buckingham Palace.

It seems Harry is embracing American culture more and more these days. Back in February, he attended the 2022 Super Bowl in L.A. with his cousin, Princess Eugenie. He also visited the Los Angeles Rams locker room shortly after their triumph win and took a picture with the trophy.

In the photos, the duke is shown holding the Lombardi trophy while the Rams celebrate in the background. Another snapshot showed Harry talking to the team’s owner, Stan Kroenke.

Can’t wait to see your future appearances across America, Harry!
