Prince Harry Says the ‘Door Is Always Open’ to His Family in New Interview Trailer

Prince Harry is here to speak his truth and he’s not holding back.

The brand-new trailer for the royal’s highly-anticipated sit-down interview with ITV News anchor Tom Bradby has finally debuted and it has a lot of people (especially royal fans) talking. The U.K. broadcast network posted the video across their social media platforms earlier this morning.

In various clips taken straight from the interview segment, the Duke of Sussex addressed multiple accusations and topics, from some people saying he’s exploiting his family’s privacy to his current relationship with Prince William.

In one particular clip, Bradby asks whether or not he will attend his father, King Charles’s, coronation ceremony (which is set to take place this spring) if he were to receive an invitation. And Harry responds, “There's a lot that can happen between now and then.”

“But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court,” he continues. “There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they're willing to sit down and talk about it.”

During the candid vid, Brady asks Harry what his brother would think about him talking about the royal family, to which the duke responds, “He’d probably say all sorts of different things.”

In another interview clip (posted by The Telegraph), Harry reveals that he wants to make amends with his brother and father. His relationship with the royal family has been strained for a while since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, chose to take a step away from the monarchy. And, he says, he hopes to mend their relationship one day.

“I want a family, not an institution,” Harry says in the clip. “I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back.”

Want to watch the entire interview? Harry: The Interview with Tom Bradby will air exclusively on ITV this Sunday at 9 PM. For royal fans across the pond, they will have a chance to stream the entire conversation on ITVX at 9 PM on January 8.
